In case you haven't heard... Those crazies at the Consumer Protection Agency are out to totally outlaw all three wheelers. That includes a recall of all the ones out there already. Seems some people get hurt on them. I'm not going to go on a tirade about how insane this is, I just want you to get excited so you'll write some letters to people (names and addresses coming tomorrow) and help put a stop to this inanity. If they have any success with three wheelers they'll try their hand at two. George Tatge

However most buyers of these three wheels assume to much. They often refuse to wear a helmet, drive dangerously fast and see it as nothing more than a motorized tricycle. The CPA is reacting rather than acting on this situation. Before I finished school I worked 2 years in a Hospital ER and we saw MANY related injuries (i.e. brain death, paralysis) due to these TRIKES. Some one has got to take a stance any educate the public on the use/abuse of recreational vehicles (4,3,2 wheel). I have driven 3 wheels and there are some marked differences in handling characteristics and are less (not much) forgiving than a motorcycle. All the CPA can do (after the AMA strangels them) is say "ride safe and aware". --beaver {seismo!allergra}!rlgvax!beaver
