[net.cycle] Using a Spark Plug hole pump

A trick I use which works very well on my Kawasaki 1100 is to
run the cylinder without any gasoline in the carburetor!
First shut off the gas petcock. Then unscrew the float bowl bolt
on the bottom of the carburetor. Gasoline will run out so watch
for open flame. Allow the bowl to drain and replace the bolt. Then
remove a spark plug from that same cylinder and insert the pump hose
and attach it to the valve stem of the tire. Without turning on the
petcock, start the bike and pump up the tire running on the gasoline
which is in the remaining three? carburetor float bowls. No gas fumes
or gas goes into the tire and there is no danger.
