I see by the newest Cycle News that Yamaha is going to have some late
entries. The two I remember (out of 4) are an FJ900 and the RD500!!
If the RD 500 hasn't sacrificed too much HP to the EPA regs it is going
to be one awesome machine. If you like REAL sport bikes then you'll
love the 500. Two stroke fever, catch it.

p.s. Today's Trivia
Do you know that O-ring chains rob horsepower? It is the added
friction in the rubber O-rings.
How careful are you when you put your rear wheel on to align
the axle via the chain adjusters? Most bikes have marks that
help you get the alignment right but I have found that the best
way is to measure both sides using some good fixed points.
Good alignment is essential for good chain life and it doesn't
hurt horsepower or handling either.
When is the last time you checked your brake pads for wear?
If your bike is more than a couple of years old, have you changed
the brake fluid?
