Hi folks:

For a really neat tire repair kit, look at the BMW kit that the
dealers carry. It has by far the best tire tools in the industry, a very
nice lubricant for putting the new tire on, and a small, but not the
greatest tire pump.
One hint on breaking the bead on those really tough ones, when your
on the road, I have had some success using a friendly automobile to drive
onto the tire just slightly to break the bead, just avoid any undue
pressure on the rim, and be careful. A car with an automatic works best,
and it doesn't take much.

Another hint on breaking the bead, If this friendly car has jack,
just jack up the car with the tire under the base of the jack. I've seem
this work. You just need a can that has the clearance to place both the jack
and tire under the car.
