I finally drove my car into the ground. Yeah! I'm going to a motorcycle lien auction this weekend, and I was wondering where to find out what reasonable prices for bikes are. Is there anything like a blue book for motorcycles? Thanks! I answered my own question by calling the library and then going there. The Motorcycle Blue Book is a reference and can't be checked out, at least in San Diego. Subscriptions are $8.00 per year, with two issues per year. The address is: Hap Jones P.O. Box 32368 San Jose CA. 95152 Sorry to be so brain damaged as to bother you all, but maybe the address will be of use... Bravo! And yes there is a "blue book" for cycles! Looks
just like the auto type. Try a bank or credit union for a copy.

Our credit union has one and I just used it the other day to see what my Interceptor was worth (not as much as hoped, sigh). I think it went back to 78 or 79. By the way how's my old stomping ground? It's raining like crazy here!*$!! Grego Sanguinetti uucp: {ucbcad,decvax,pur-ee,cbosg,ihnss}!tektronix!teklds!grego CSnet: grego@tek ARPAnet:grego.tek@rand-relay

(Hard to convey a raucous whistle--lean on your control-G once or twice.) If you can't get hold of the blue book, I've found a rule of thumb for smaller bikes (100 to 650 cc) to be $1 per cc as an asymtotic lower limit. It may be true for larger bikes as well, but I don't know that market at all. -- *** *** JE MAINTIENDRAI ***** ***** ****** ****** 11 Sep 85 [25 Fructidor An CXCIII] ken perlow ***** ***** (312)979-7753 ** ** ** ** ..ihnp4!iwsl8!ken *** ***
