[net.cycle] I think I want to buy an 85 Kawasaki

don@inmet.UUCP (09/12/85)

a friend of mine has one, which i've ridden. it's fast for its size, but it's
designed for looks, and it does turn out to be uncomfortable for long rides.
my friend specifically complains that the seat is uncomfortable after about
an hour, because its step prevents the rider from moving forward or backward.
also, the rear shocks are hard to adjust; he had to have the dealer do it.
if you sometimes ride with a passenger, you'll want to adjust the shocks when
you do, because the handling's weird enough as it is.
anyway, i (for one) think it looks silly. harley makes the best harley
look-alikes, after all. it really does crank, though. -don davis
