----------- This is a plea for advice and/or manuals recomendations for a '81 Maico Mega II 490, and an '81 Honda water cooled motocrosser. These are recent auction purchases. I need to rebuild the top end of the Honda, and learn how to ride the 490 :-) That is, after I learn how to start it! The kickstart is on the left side, VERY near the footpeg. Generally accepted technique seems to be to "tickle" the enricher on the Bing carb until gas spills out of the overflow, then muster up your Wheaties, pray, and kick like hell with your right foot as you stand off to the left side of the bike. So far I only gave it a feeble try at the auction house, tonight when I get it home I'll check the plug and try some ether. I'd sure be more comfortable with a Japanese style right hand kickstart!
