[net.cycle] apology

toddv@ebony.UUCP (08/28/85)

Upon reading my entry, the tone of my PS sounded very rude to me.
It wasn't meant to be. I just find "he/she" awkward in a sentence.

I also felt my point about St John's Honda was unclear. Those that live
somewhere other than Portland are probably not going to go there. However,
if you call every dealer in town and ask about cheap inexpensive new bikes,
they will probalbly start telling you about their older warehoused models.
Don't get a used bike, get an early model, never beeen oiled or gassed bike.
The cost is roughly the same.

BETTER YET, GET A CAR--THEY'RE SAFER! Everytime I get on my bike, I have
a feeling that I've forgotten something. And I have: I've forgotten my
seat belt and all the nice protective metal that sheilds my body from impacts.
(I commute daily ~34 miles.)
