The seat on my 1983 Honda 750 Sabre is quickly falling to pieces. This is not altogether bad news to me in that the stock seat on the Sabre is so poor my wife refuses to ride very far with me on it (biggest problem is that the passinger portion is sloped forward). I need advice on a good aftermarket replacement seat. At one time there were many seats being advertized in motorcycle magazines. For some reason, I now see very few (except those specifically for the large touring bikes). Do any of you know of a good one that might fit my Sabre? Also, how does one go about getting the replacement. My bike is my main source of transportation, and thus it would be extremely difficult for me to have to ship my old seat away somewhere.
