[net.cycle] Pickups, again

First, I should say that Oregon drivers are extremely courteous to
motorcyclists. I even had one fellow stop next to me at the top of the
hwy off ramp and apologize for changing lanes right in front of me.
He apologized profusely. (And yes, I was wearing my silly orange vest.)

Nonetheless, I just had to cross post this article from net.bicycle:

> After getting harrased the by the occupants of a pickup
> in rural Oregon yesterday (I'm not sure what the problem was, we
> were riding as close as possible to the white line. The car
> in front of the pickup waiting until the on coming traffic was
> gone before passing, [was] holding up the truck).

It would be fascinating to do a psychological profile on the drivers of
pickup trucks compared to the population at large.
