I've bought a Sabre at last, and now my trusty steed of yesteryear is
on the trading block, not without a few twinges of fond memories and
sentimental hesitations.
Now the sales pitch:
1977 Honda CB750K. Bought in 83 with 4400 miles, now has 13,000 miles.
No B.S. this bike is in great shape. We're talking clean. My friends here
in the lab swear I have a vat of Turtle Wax chrome cleaner and wax that
I park the bike in when not riding it. All paint, chrome, rims, engine covers
etc are pristine. (Enough ego-stroking, more details!)
Extras: Windjammer, backrest, carrying rack, engine guards.
Stock parts removed to install Windjammer are available.
Maintenance: Always well-maintained. Chain, battery, exhaust (stock, no
ugly headers on this bike) replaced last fall. Complete tuneup a couple
hundred miles ago.
