[net.rec.photo] Small and light-weight

For a small, lightweight camera you might look into the newest
compact Kodak. The film is packaged in a totally new format -
a circular housing which rotates in the camera, rather than a roll.
The preliminary stuff I've seen in photo mags has looked encouraging.

You still have the problems inherent in a small film size. In particular,
there are limits on how much you can enlarge the photos.

Also, I believe that this new family of cameras depends on battery power.
There might be a mechanical model, I'm not sure.

The new Kodak cameras may depend on battery power, but Kodak will replace
the battery free if it fails in the first 5 years of service.
