I have seen two references in the last six months to a device manufactured by Vivitar that produces prints from color slides using Polaroid film. One was a brief mention in one of the standard photo mags (Petersons' Photographic, I think), the other was a full page ad in the September Scientific American. I can't find any local source (I know, I should lower my expectations and enjoy Columbus as it is) that knows as much as I do about it -- nor have I seen it in NY Times ads by 42nd St. Photo, etc. Anyone out there heard of this beast and know more about it?
