I have two friends with Minolta SRT-101 cameras and lenses to go with. The cameras and lenses are 5 to 10 years old. I've noticed that these lenses are of rather poor quality. This is trying them both on their camera and mine. It seems rather hard for me to believe that the lenses were made that way. Both are standard fixed length lenses (nothing fancy). They are 58mm F1.4 and 35mm f2.8 The things i've noticed are irregularities such as if I look thru them and move the camera slightly to the right or left, some things go out of focus while others come in. This is with the lens at infinity, and all objects are far enough away. Were they made this way or do lenses age???? Ken Dalka ihuxe!dalka
