I have the XA (the one that has the better lens, and aperature priority automation). For a small, take anywhere camera, I have been extremely satisfied. The quality of slides taken with it have been excellent. I recommend the XA over the XA2 because the XA2 doesn't have near as good a lens, and has no control over the automatic exposure. BTW, what is the XA1? --peter gross
