I received the new Kodak Tech Bits today. For those of you who do not know Tech Bits is a quarterly Kodak publication for scientists and engineers. It mostly contains info on new Kodak products and how to use them. This issue has info on Technical Pan Film, 2415, an ultra fine grain film. If you have been reading the photo mags you have seen examples of 50X enlargements from 35mm negatives taken on Tech Pan. Great Stuff. Now you can get the straight poop from the Great Yellow Father. Write Eastman Kodak Co. Department 412L 343 State St Rochester, N.Y. 14650 and ask for Kodak Pamphlet P-255 "KODAK Technical Pan Film 2415". While you are writing also ask for pamphlets L-5 and L-5A which describe other free litterature from Kodak. You can get on the mailing list for Tech Bits (free) by writing the Editor, Tech Bits, Department 662 at the above address. Other info in the current issue includes "push" and "pull" processing for Ektachrome, film for X-Ray diffraction, and air bells on processed film. -Bryan Lyles (allegra or seismo)!rochester!bryan University of Rochester
