How does one go about taking photos when you are outside and it's raining or snowing? I'm afraid that getting moisture on/in the camera might be bad for it.

The simplest is to get a large plastic bag, a skylight filter and a lense hood. Put the camera in the bag, and fasten it around the lense hood with a rubber band. Wahla! (?) instant weatherproof camera (well, waterproof anyway, if you're going to be in the snow, keep the camera under your jacket when you arent using it. Cold does nasty things to both camer lubricants and batteries). If you want to take outdoor pictures a lot, consider investing in a seperate camera such as the Nikonos (underwater 35mm camera), or the minolta ??? (also waterproof, 110 format) Third, buy a cheap camera that you wont mind if it gets destroyed. BillW

Wahla may be how they spell it in Walhalla, but in Paris it`s Voila!
