Does anyone have information about the reciprocity characteristics of Kodak's new VR 1000 film? (ie is this stuff good for astrophotography?). R. L. Platt cbscd5!rlp

Ektachrome did as well with more vivid colors. sky fog is a problem. wider dynamic range makes it more suitable for nebulae. also has better red sensitivity for hydrogen alpha at 6563 A. no cooling test was attempted though ambient was 7 F. best guess is it has about the same reciprocity failure as the ASA 400 emulsions. an excellent film for auroras. Astronomy magazine has probably reviewed the film by now in more detail.
