[] A short time ago (yesterday?) I posted information about a problem I was having with my Sunpak 422D flash and my MX-2D dedicated module when using the remote sensor cord to get the flash body off the camera. Someone on the net posted a number for Sunpak questions and I spoke with someone in the consumer information department. The reply I received is that the remote sensor cord presently does not work with TTL flash and so is not compatible with the MX-2D module. The person I spoke to said that sometime in the future the cords should be upgraded to handle TTL flash. This seems rather strange to me because the 422D flash with the Olympus module which handles TTL flash has been out for a long time. One would think that there would be a remote sensor cord available for that combination of flash and module. If that is the case, and I believe it is likely to be, it would seem like it wouldn't be much of an effort to come up with a new cord for the new TTL modules for other brands of cameras. How long does Sunpak expect us to put up with the flash right in the hot shoe? Oh well, I guess I can always use my non-TTL module whenever I don't want to use any filtration and put up with hot-shoe flash, red eyes, and super flat lighting whenever the filter urge overtakes me.
