Does anyone out there have any experience with purchasing the necessary diopters for Canon cameras? I'm slightly nearsighted, and I don't like taking pictures with my glasses on. Any information regarding diopters (general and specific to my problem) would be appreciated. Please reply to the net. Thanks.

<> I thought about buying the corrective lenses for the eyepiece of my camera, but since my correction is ~ 5 diopters I am effectively blind with my glasses off. I decided that it would be more of a pain in the neck to be constantly taking them off to look in the camera and putting them back on again than it is to not be able to see the entire viewfinder all at once. I think that the only time I'd really like to use them is when doing still life and such where the camera is on a tripod and once you get it pointed in about the right direction there is little need to look outside the finder.
