I want to abuse your knowledge on Exposure Meters. I want to buy a good Exposure Meter, not necessarily the very top of the line. Almost all of the photographs I make are in Black and White with available light. Occasionally, I make some colour photographs, but not very often. I have become increasingly familiar with the Zone System, as presented by Ansel Adams in his books, which relies heavily on the Exposure Meters of the spot-kind. What do you know ( pros and cons ) about this type of Exposure Meters ? I used to have an old Weston-Master which my father gave to me many years ago, but I have heard of the limitations that the system of average-light presents, so I am interested in exploring the newer kind, the spot-meters. I will appreciate all you can tell me on the subject and suggestions of specific brands, models and price-ranges. Jorge.
