My wife is an artist. She is looking into using an opaque projector, for utility work in her studio. By the nature of the opaque projector, it would seem that there would be a better way--such as a combination of instant transparencies with an appropriate transparency projector. I can see some disadvantage in having two sets of optics, but I can also see major advantages--such as being able to use the projector (maybe) for 35mm slides from a 'real' camera, using store-boughten slides, better depth of field (the opaque projector is atrocious), ... The questions: 1. Is there an instant-slide system? Notice that the application does not require the kind of quality that all you for-the-love-of-it (amateur) photographers aim for--it's strictly a tool. Who makes it, how much does it cost, where would I find it? 2. Or am I out of my mind for thinking of such foolishness? Please reply by email--if you post it, I probably won't have time to read it before it expires. Thanks, heaps. -- --Bill Price uucp: {decvax!ucbvax philabs}!sdcsvax!bmcg!bprice arpa:? sdcsvax!bmcg!bprice@nosc
