A potential problem not pointed out yet in this discussion is what happens when you're done with the double (multiple) exposure and are redy to advance the film. At least in my Pentaxs, the pickup ISN'T IMMEDIATE. e.g. you advance the mechanism ~ 1/2 frame before the film moves at all. Therefore, two rules! 1) leave a blank frame between a double exposure and the next image. 2) Tell your finisher that the film should be left uncut or cut by hand. Explain that all images not evenly spaced. (You should also do this if you ever take a film out of your camera and finis it later.) With a bit of practice, results can be excellent.
