Hello world,
I am a proud owner of a Canon A-1 and so I was wondering how many other
people own one of these great cameras. I have taken my through hell and
back again(also through snow and rapelling and rock concerts) and it has
continued to serve me well no matter how I try to hurt it. It has the
marks on it to show that it is two and a half years old and I have not
had one major problem with it, besides killing the first battery in only
two months(I had the second one in for more than a year, though). So,
Canon A-1 owners, speak up.

Hi.
I'm seriously considering purchasing a Canon A-1 with a Vivitar
28-90 f2.8 Series 1 Lense. Does anyone have any gripes or other
negative feedback on this camera (or lense), or any specific reason
for preferring any of the other comparable cameras? (eg pentax superprog,
ricoh xr-p).
