I would like to know what kind of films should be used to get the best results for making: - slides from slides - negatives from slides - slides from negatives - negatives from negatives I have a 35mm camera and a slide copying/cropping lens. Can anyone give me any recommendations? Thanks in advance. Young Huh ..!ihnp4!homxa!young

Kodak makes a number of films for this purpose. Of special interest is the special ektachrome that produces slides from negatives... Try it as a normal film (but be sure to use tungsten light to approximate the orange 'mask' on negs -- the colors come out backwards !!) I don't remember the number of that one, or the other copy films, but have used most of them and they work better than normal films. A last tip -- when copying from a slide --> slide, be careful not to have too much contrast. You may want to over-expose a little. /jordan ------- ARPA: jordan@berkeley.ARPA UUCP: ..!ucbvax!jordan
