I have a request for some advice and information. My sister called me last night and asked for some recommendations for a 35mm SLR camera and, since I have not been keeping up with the latest and greatest in cameras, I thought that I would see what the net had to say. Neither my sister nor her husband are heavily into photography but they would like a camera that takes good pictures with little hassle and will permit them to expand into photography if they want. The price range they are shooting for is in the $250-300 range. Currently they have their eye on the Konica FT-1. If anybody has anything good or bad to say about the FT-1 or can make another suggestion/recommenda- tion I would appreciate hearing from them.
