[net.rec.photo] Any flash guru's out there?

I have a Vivitar 5600 with the Zoom head and the bare bulb head. I
especially like the bare bulb head (67 ws !!) because it's light and
really has high quality light (cheap too. I got mine for ~$$30...). I'm
getting a spare 4600 body so I can use it regularly (NYC only wants
$7.50 for it !!!). Here's the question:

There is a little flap on the back of the head that looks like a
reflector could be placed there. My local camera shop sez they never
heard of Vivitar having such a beast, but recommended that maybe
Chimera might have something... any ideas? Anyone have a similar set
up?

Chimera makes a pair of miniature soft-boxes that fit on a camera or
handle-mounted flash and give the nice diffused light that their big
soft-boxes give (but on a smaller scale).

I have a 283 and Vivtar makes a bracket that attaches to the outside
of the flash and allows the use of a bounce card (or reflector, I guess).
