A friend and I are planning to set up a darkroom. She is actually the photographer. We were considering a Besseler 23c XL enlarger, and were wondering what the best (i.e. cheapest, easiest) way to acquire the equipment is. We are considering mail order from N.Y.C., trying to find local used equipment, etc. We would also like recommendations on equipment, e.g. lenses, timers, etc. She is a beginner, having taken one course in photography, but is enrolled for more.
