In my original posting I used 'aftermarket' to mean 'non-Minolta'.
This may not have been clear. Sorry.

But while we're on the subject; now that I have two cameras I would
like to be able to share some lenses between them. I wouldn't mind
some loss of function (such as non-autofocus, stop down metering,
etc.) I know that Tamron (sp?) makes a line of lenses that use
adapters for different mounts. Who else has 'adaptable' lenses and
how good are they? I have heard of T mount, is this the same
as Tamron's Adaptal-2 mount? Is the whole idea of adaptable lenses
a waste of time and money?
