     I'm in the process of setting up a slide viewing/sorting
center in my studio. I've set up a large table with files on
either end, 2 recessed projectors, romm light controls, etc.

     I'm putting in a 2' x 4' flourescent fixture in the table
top as well as a 2' x 4' slanted fixture (with rails) above it
for sorting. I would like to put 5k bulbs in the fixtures, but
I need the following info;

	- Where do I buy them?
	- do they require special ballasts and/or sockets?
	- do they come in standard lengths?
	- does anyone have any info about them I should know?
	   (short bulb life, too costly to consider, etc.)

     Please mail or post you responses to;

I don't know what their color temperature is, but I have been very
happy with Vita-lites Power Twists. Slides taken under these bulbs are
very natural. I use them for lighting my aquariums.

You can get them from any specialty lighting store. You can also get
them from certain health food stores.
