Mike,
There is a wire on the main board that
controls where the MX-80's input comes
from. I assume that the motherboard
of the F/T is the same as the 80 non
F/T, and that's true on mine. When
you install the serial (or IEEE or any
other board) on the Epson, this wire
goes to a pin on the interface, effectivly
shutting out input from the parallel
port. You might be able to rig
up a switch though ...I really don't
know (never had to try).
