Does anyone know what's happened to Ohio Scientific? They
seem to have vanished off the face of the earth! BYTE magazine
ran an article a few months ago saying that they were bought
out by MACOM, a large New England Telecommunications firm, but
as of about two months ago, all sign of OSI's personal computer
products disappeared. They always had a full-page ad on the back
of BYTE magazine; that is no more. All the local stores (in
the Chicago area, at least) have either folded or stopped
selling OSI equipment.

I'm a little worried about this, since I am the owner of an
Ohio Scientific computer and would like a source of hardware
and software. I'm considering selling my machine now if I
can't find anyone willing to support it.

   Can anyone offer any suggestions?

                             Thanks,
                             Charley Kline
