I have an Osborne, and can't talk to anybody. I have Microlink, but need
some help in checklisting its instructions so I can communicate with
this and other mainframes. Also, has anybody constructed a TERMCAP entry for
the Osborne?

I would be very interested in having a termcap for my Osborne as well.
According to page 265 of the new Osborne I manual, "A close look ... will
show that, for the most part, the Osborne I emulates the Televideo terminal's
video functions." I have just been too lazy to try doing a termcap.
If you get a termcap, please send me a copy.
Also, I have been using a program called Talk written by a guy here in Oregon
(it's not public domain; he sells it) that allows communication with the
Osborne I. I don't have his company's name and address handy as I write this,
but I can dig it out if you are interested.
