[net.bugs.2bsd] adb bug in 2.9bsd

steve@geops.UUCP (Steve Malone) (03/15/86)

I have applied Peter Staubach's fixes to adb posted in early Feb.
I still get a message complaining about "different core magic number".
Does anyone know what this might be? I have a PDP_11/70 with the
CSS/Harvard 2.9BSD running on it. Everything else seems great, but
I do need "adb" now and then.
Thanks much if you can help,

Make sure that /usr/include/sys/param.h and /usr/include/sys/localopts.h
matches that of the currently running unix and then recompile... the
problem should then be gone...
