It would be nice if the product fit either UNIBUS or MULTIBUS, but this is not a requirement. Similarly, it would be nice if it had a reasonably high data rate. Another possibility would be a product that uses light frequencies for line-of- sight communication over reasonable distances (without connecting optical fibers).
