An in-house project at the
Institute for Computer Sciences and Technology
National Bureau of Standards
to research and develop techniques for
MULTIPROCESSOR COMPUTER PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
seeks additional staff.
We are studying:
> hardware design/instrumentation for measurement,
> external measurment equipment,
and techniques for evaluation and measurement of:
> operating systems for multiprocessor architectures,
> algorithms for multiprocessor architectures,
> compilers for multiprocessor architectures.
A wide range of Computer Science/Computer Engineering skills
are sought at levels from Senior Researcher to Graduate Coop
Student.

HELP WANTED
An in-house project at the
Institute for Computer Sciences and Technology
National Bureau of Standards
requires
UNIX INTERNALS EXPERTS
to help research and develop techniques for multiprocessor
computer performance measurement.
Project equipment on hand includes VAX (BSD 4.2), SUN (BSD 4.2),
Motorola VME-10 (UNIX V), LSI-11/23/73 (UNIX 6, RT-11), etc. An
experimental multiprocessor using 68010s in a tightly-coupled
architecture will be available. A good feeling for experimental
hardware would be a real plus.
