The Speech Project is looking for two Research Scientists and two Research
Programmers to work on the AI and programming system side of the CMU
Distributed Speech System. We require a PhD degree for Research Scientists
and a B.S. or M.S.  degree for programmers.  Speech recognition experience
is not required since the work will concentrate on building a
state-of-the-art parallel processing environment for speech recognition. The
work will be carried on initially on a network of personal machines and then
on a tightly-coupled multiprocessor.  Carnegie-Mellon is an Equal
