The DADO project at Columbia University has a full time position available
for a Hardware Engineer. The DADO project is directed towards design
and development of both hardware and software for the parallel execution
of artificial intelligence programs, particularly expert systems and
logic programming.

Job responsibilities for this position will include both the continuation
of work on a prototype DADO machine currently under construction, and
working towards design of future DADO machines. The machine currently
under construction uses Intel 8051 microprocessors, in conjunction with
a custom I/O chip designed by the DADO team. Future designs will incorporate
more recent processor technology. Applicants should have a Masters in EE
and/or extensive experience in hardware design, as well as an interest
in parallel architectures.
