One position as a systems programmer is IMMEDIATELY available. The salary depends on the experience and qualification of the person, but it roughly is in the range of $26K - $35K. HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
The Department of Civil Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University is
seeking applicants for the position of Professor and Head of the
Department. Candidates must have a distinguished record of research and
scholarly achievement compatible with one or more areas of
concentrations of the Department. The primary concentration areas are:
engineering planning and management; environmental engineering;
mechanics, structural and geotechnical engineering; and computer-aided
engineering including robotics. The Department is comprised of 18
faculty members, several of whom hold joint appointments, 9 research
associates, 63 full-time graduate students, and approximately 90
undergraduates. The Department has a vigorous externally funded
research program. The Head is expected to be dedicated to excellence
and to provide leadership to maintain and evolve programs in teaching
and research.
