[fa.arpa-bboard] Non-profit urban environment project needs PCs, etc. donated

levitt@AIDS-UNIX.ARPA (Tod Levitt) (08/27/85)

The Manhattan Empire is a project to develop an arts and resource
environment for inner city kids. It is modeled after the very successful
Albany Empire in London, and is backed by the New York Urban Coalition,
Network International, and the Albany Empire.

The project needs PC and other micro-computer equipment donated both for
office support and for computer labs for the kids. IBM and Apple
equipment is preferred, but any reasonable tools will be gratefully
accepted. Naturally, all donations of equipment are tax deductible under
the standard non-profit organization contribution guidelines. Equipment
needs includes PCs and other micro-computers, printers, back-up
subsystems, system documentation and modems.

If you have equipment to donate, or would like more information
regarding the Manhattan Empire, please contact
