Regarding the above message:

NIC@NIC is NOT the correct place to submit requests for additions to
the TCP-IP mailing list.  Requests should be sent to
TCP-IP-REQUEST@SRI-NIC.

p.s. In general you can check for the right place to send requests
for addition to a mailing list by checking NETINFO:INTEREST-GROUPS.TXT
on SRI-NIC.
