[net.news.b] I found my problem...

borman (06/26/82)

Last night I posted an article asking for help as to why our readnews
was doing weird things, like
	sh: My: not found.
when trying to invoke the pager. Well, when I was reading news myself,
I ran into the problem again, and was able to recreate it. So, after
MANY hours of adb, I found the problem. It seems in our pager, there
was a pointer, and if conditions were right (an article >15 but <23
lines long) the pointer didn't get initialized, thus, an fgets went
writing randomly into data space....
So, don't worry, the bug was a local one, and not netwide.
