I think that it would be desirable to have an option for news that would overide newsgroups that are unsubscribed but still look at and update the articles read numbers in .newsrc. For example, suppose by .newsrc contains net.sources! 1-130 The command readnews -N net.sources would give me sources starting at 131 and the line would be updated when I leave news.
