I've noticed the following bug in B news 2.6, and am wondering if it was fixed in 2.7 or later: while doing a 'readnews', and after moving on to the first article of the day in a newsgroup, if you give the '-' command to go back to the previous message, when you finish with that previous message, readnews skips over the entire news group that you were in when you gave the '-' command. If you later go back and do another 'readnews', you discover that news has lost all sense of how many messages you've read in the first (the one you wanted to read via '-') newsgroup. You have to start all over again, or go edit your .newsrc. Rick
