Does anyone know why already-existing newsgroups keep being added to the bottom of our /usr/lib/news/active file? There's no notice in usenet's mailbox. pur-ee!iuvax!dcm.

Whenever a new group is created, it gets added to your active list. If you (or anyone) want, I will send you a little shell and ed script that I have that orders the active file into alphabetical order in subgroups (net, fa, etc)
