I've seen two oddities lately in our (version 2.9) news system. 1. Somebody tried to submit an article and got the "You didn't really want to post THAT" message. The article contained 514 characters; the code in inews.c looks like it is only checking for a count of less than 5 characters before giving that message. We were able to submit the article only after padding it out with some more characters. 2. Lately zehntel has been sending out two copies of every article (but both with the same article id). Instead of being suppressed as duplicates, inews seems to be accepting both of them. Has anybody else seen these symptoms before? Dave Clemans Tektronix
