I couldn't find it off-hand, but if what people say is true about 2.10 doing access() or stat() on all articles in a newsgroup until it finds one, why not just have the code read in the directory entries (just the numerical ones) and sort them at worst -- keep track of the smallest/largest at best? Or maybe I missed the problem. Bugs I've noticed: The Last article bug fix works except when I do a `-' in response to the last article. It then gets confused in reverse (of what the original bug was). For digest reading (which is a fantasic addition), typing a `?' to find the options gave them to me but then I was kicked out of the digest reading. I was on the last article of the digest at the time. It should have brought me back to the last digest article again. I hear than in expire, it does not expire articles with the old-style format. This is in both expires (mine had additions, not changes to the existing one). I'm not sure of this, but I'm passing it on.
