[net.news.b] bug in U

dave@utcsrgv.UUCP (Dave Sherman) (10/09/83)

Running news 2.10[.1], the follow happens:

A new newsgroup just started up, and I don't want it. It happes to
be called tor.laser-lovers (don't worry about that, it's a long story).
I see article 2 and decide to unsubscribe. I am facing
"Last article. [qfr]", so I type 'U'. The message I get is
"Unsubscribing to newsgroup: net.lang.mod2".

It appears that readnews went through some more groups before
giving me the last article message, and doesn't know that the 'U'
relates to the last thing I have *seen*.

The tail end of my .newsrc now reads:

	tor.laser-lovers: 1-2
	net.lang.mod2!
