Has anyone else noticed that if AUTONEWNG is enabled, and a news sub-subgroup, ie. net.news.adm, or net.sport.hoops arrives and there is no higher news group, (net.news or net.sport) defined in the active file, that the higher level news group is not automatically created? The lower level subgroup was created ok. I have just discovered that we have been getting net.news.* but have not been getting any of net.news . The log file shows net.news articles were arriving, but were apparently being thrown away. Should control messages to create net.bugs, net.games, net.lang, net.micro, net.news ... be sent out in case there are other new sites with a incomplete active file? ...vax135!petsd|peora|usenet Steve Davies
