[net.news.b] going back in readnews

It sure would be nice if - would let me keep going back in
readnews instead of flipping back and forth between say,
article 7023 and 7024.

It can be argued that that is what "last" means. But such an
argument does not make it any more useful.

     To go back as far as you want in readnews:

Note the number of the article you are on. An number alone on a line is
interpreted to refer to a particular article. Thus, subtracting 10 from
your current article and putting that number alone on a line will skip
back ten articles.

Readnews ignores your .newsrc file and lets you read any article, but if
you hit return after reading that one, it skips you forward to the next
unread article.
